New Patient Centre
How We Operate
We believe our patients are every bit as important as human patients, and we operate the way an organized hospital does.
We offer you appointment options for your pet, so we can give our undivided attention to you when you come to see us.
We’ll never turn anyone away in an emergency, however, so drop-ins are welcome too, and we’ll do our best to reduce your waiting time.
What to Expect
In your search for a veterinary practice, we believe you should be able to expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal at Richmond Hill Animal Hospital is to offer exceptional client service and veterinary health care in a warm, empathetic and patient-oriented environment.
Your pet’s annual wellness check should include a complete physical examination, blood tests and a discussion of necessary vaccinations, preventive medicines and diet. It’s a good idea to take note of things like your pet’s elimination habits, temperament changes and adjustments to his diet. These records help to explain the findings of any anomalies in your pet’s medical tests.
The members of our team at Richmond Hill Animal Hospital are compassionate and willing to explain all the procedures your pet will be undergoing. Read more about our wellness checks.
Your pet may need any of a variety of medical procedures during his or her lifetime. Just like people do, he occasionally needs his teeth cleaned to remove build-up plaque and tartar. At some point in your pet’s life she may need surgery, whether it’s a routine procedure like a spay or neuter, or a more complex operation. We use only the safest methods of anesthesia and Dr. Kadri’s expertise in small animal surgery means you can be sure your pet is getting the very best care.
Dr. Kadri uses x-rays, sonograms, EKG, and in-house laboratory work to help him arrive at a diagnosis, and to make sure that the correct steps are taken to provide for your pet’s health and well-being.

Although well-versed in several specializations, Dr. Kadri believes that you and your pet deserve the very best care you can get. For this reason, we may refer you to a veterinary specialist if your pet shows signs of needing an in-depth diagnosis in fields such as ophthamology, internal medicine, orthopedics or ultrasonography. We work closely with a range of specialists across the GTA and will always refer you to the professional best-equipped to treat your pet’s specific condition.
